Why I’m More Interested in Ritual Than Reinvention
Beauty that stays doesn’t need reinvention — it needs return
✨ Ritual isn’t repetition — it’s recognition. ✨
Dear You,
We’re constantly told that beauty — and life — requires reinvention.
New routines. New versions. New energy.
But the longer I build Lucky Chick, the more certain I become of this: I’m far more interested in ritual than reinvention.
And to be clear — this isn’t because reinvention is wrong. It’s because ritual is what sustains us after reinvention fades.
Reinvention Is Loud. Ritual Is What Stays.
Reinvention promises transformation.
Ritual offers continuity.
Reinvention asks you to become someone new. Ritual invites you to stay — and deepen.
I’ve reinvented myself many times in my life. Some of it was necessary. Some of it was survival.
But nothing meaningful has ever lasted without ritual underneath it. That’s where Lucky Chick lives for me.
What Ritual Actually Looks Like
Ritual isn’t dramatic.
It doesn’t demand discipline or willpower.
It’s quiet. Repetitive. Physical.
For me, ritual shows up as glow . Not glam. Not “done.” Just alive.
The Ritual I Return To
A touch of illuminizer brings light without effort.
A swipe of blush multi-stick brings warmth back into my body.
Love, Lucky Chick xoxo
