This Was Never Just a Beauty Brand
A founder letter about creativity, color, and the energy that keeps Lucky Chick evolving.
Lucky Chick has a way of finding its way into everything I create.
Not as a straight line.
Not as something perfectly planned.
But as something that has always been part of how I see and make things.
Less of a return… and more of a constant presence.
Creating has never really stopped for me.
It’s just taken different shapes over time.
And for the past several years, that’s been color.
Color in a way that feels intuitive.
Effortless.
Like a small shift that changes how you see yourself.
Every time I create, something moves.
At different moments, it’s evolved.
Shifted.
Expanded into new expressions.
But the core of it has always been the same.
A kind of energy.
A way of seeing things.
A belief that even in the middle of uncertainty, something can still open for you.
For the past six years, Lucky Chick has lived in color—
in textures, tones, and the quiet power of subtle change.
Not transformation in a dramatic way.
But in the way a small adjustment can shift how you feel.
When I trust that instinct and create from it,
something always shifts.
The next idea appears.
The next direction reveals itself.
The energy moves forward.
Not all at once. Not perfectly.
But in a way that feels true.
That’s what Lucky Chick is to me now.
Not just makeup.
Not just a brand.
It’s the act of creating something and realizing you were never really stuck.
It’s the quiet movement that happens when you stay connected to what feels like you.
Maybe that’s what people call luck.
But I don’t think it’s random.
I think it’s what happens when you keep creating.
This isn’t something I’m starting over.
It’s something I’ve been building—just in ways that keep evolving.
And I’m still creating.
That part hasn’t changed.
If you’re here, you’re part of it now.
And I’m really glad you found me.
